Guidelines for Recruiters
- The invitations to prospective recruiting Companies/Organizations shall be sent by the Placement Office (Faculty In-charge) or the Placement Cell (a body of Student Representatives from each Department guided by their respective Faculty Mentors). All relevant information related to Placement Drive shall be shared with the prospective recruiters along with these invitations.
- The interested recruiters shall fill a Job Notification Form (JNF) containing all the required details about the placement.
- Any recruiter interested in delivering a Pre-Placement Talk may send the request to the Placement Office along with the relevant details.
- The JNF is made available to the students along with the relevant details.
- Interested students may apply for the recruitment process of a company through online or written applications.
- In consultation with the company, the Placement Cell shall allot a particular date to the company for the interviews.
- Companies can go through the resumes of the interested students to shortlist the students.
- The recruiters schedule online placements, or visit the campus at the allotted date(s), to conduct the test(s) and/or interview(s) as per the recruitment process.
- The recruiters are required to declare the final list of the selected as well as waitlisted students on the date of interview(s) or within three working days from the date of interview. In case any selected candidate is unable to join due to some valid reason, then company shall be requested to consider waitlisted candidates for job offer.
- Once a candidate is given an offer letter, he/she is not allowed to sit for any further placements as per School policy. In light of this fact, the recruiters are advised to recruit the number of students as per their actual requirements, and no changes be made at the time of joining of students.
