The Alumni of the School have been instrumental in creating and carrying forward the legacy of the Department of Architecture since its inception. They have the largest footprint amongst practitioners and consultants in architecture doing prestigious projects in India and abroad. Our Alumni form the largest faculty pool amongst colleges of architecture and have been trained to become global professionals with a strong grounding in their roots. As stewards of the built environment with social, environmental and cultural responsibilities, our Alumni have brought laurels to the School as our ambassadors in varying roles, as post-graduate students in leading national and international institutions; as PhD scholars engaging in research in a variety of domains from theory and criticism of the built environment to cutting edge research in topical and emerging disciplines like climate and energy studies, artificial intelligence, UX/UI to name a few. Additionally, the Alumni are working as professionals nationally and internationally in different parts of the world. Further, several of our students have taken the entrepreneurship routes to set up their own practices across the country, not only in metropolitan cities but also in tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3 towns. Additionally, some Alumni have ventured into allied fields like art direction, product design, advertising, media studies and many more. The Alumni of the Department with their technical and analytical skill sets in academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are fine young men and women ready to take on the dynamic needs of the field. Tutored by a highly experienced and diverse faculty, the Alumni are equipped with skill sets to be world class professionals while also being the flagbearers of social, cultural and environmental responsibilities. The curriculum coupled with the School’s teaching-learning environment has always ensured that Alumni are enabled to respond to, and lead the complete range of domains that impact the built-environment from technology to the humanities and everything else in between. Such training contributes towards skill building of the budding architects by nurturing attributes like problem solving, critical thinking, informed decision making, spirit of teamwork, mentorship and communication.

The Alumni are actively engaged in consultancy projects and cutting-edge research projects funded by government agencies, private organizations, and international institutions. Such projects are testimony to the fact that our Alumni remain at the forefront of industry trends and innovative practices. The Alumni are well connected with the Department , and have been contributing towards its growth and development in the roles of visiting faculty, expert lectures, seminars, and workshops. The Alumni have always been instrumental in mentoring students from the Department  by providing opportunities for internship and placements. The Department  takes immense pride in its Alumni. They are the flag bearers of what the Department  stands for and as ambassadors they carry and disseminate the message of who we are far and wide. The Department is proud of their achievements and references them to inspire currently enrolled batches. In doing so, the Department acts as a bridge between the Alumni and the students facilitating a synergy between them for mutual enrichment both professionally and otherwise.
